Putting Frameworks, Methodologies and Tools All Together

Spreadsheets

Spreadsheets are good for one off but are inefficient for scaling repetitive processes consistently

The key to success is less about the specific methodology or tool but more about how the tools are used, analyzed, interpreted and integrated together and therein lies the difficulty or challenge for most Coaches and Practitioners. There is too much manual work, scientific assessment and interpretation and lack of cohesive technology to make the process simple and streamlined.

Lifestyle and weight-loss clients and athletes come in all genders, sizes and flavors and there is no one solution that fits everyone. The problem is that creating custom solutions for everyone is a time consuming and complicated task for the Coach or Practitioner and as such causes them to default to generic solutions for everyone.

Six Sigma Fitness™️ has created a living framework of methodologies that continues to change based on the needs of the Coaches and Practitioners and ever evolving scientific discoveries that help to improve the recommended protocols. It uses scientifically valid tools and analytics to perform the complicated and tedious work so that the Coach and or Practitioner can focus on client based strategies and services.

It takes a dedicated database to scale consistent practices and offer multiple user friendly interfaces to interact with the data.

To get to this point, we have spent over a decade and tens of thousands of dollars in certifications, hundred’s of thousands of dollars in hardware, software and other health technologies and an unquantified cost on personal resources to develop proprietary methods and integration knowledge of many different client training programs and technology platforms. During this process we have honed in on a select group of tools that we believe can accommodate virtually 100% of the Coach or Practitioner’s needs including, HRV platforms, Metabolic Carts and their technology for RMR and VO2max, Workout tracking apps for client workouts, as well as the analysis, tracking, and reporting of our own Six Sigma Fitness™ cloud based data platform. This system relies on its proprietary methodology and analytical artificial intelligence that we developed and programmed into the technology and algorithms. In addition, in our performance technology we use everything from heart rate sensors, strike sensors, jump sensors, velocity based systems, muscle oxygen sensors, neuromuscular signaling light reaction kits… just to name a few.

We know and understand that in the health and fitness field any or all of these systems could be used but aren’t necessary for everyone all the time. In fact some of the most basic of tests and assessments that are taught in every health and fitness program or certification are not even used due to a lack of understanding of the client application process or because of how cumbersome it is to actually implement these types of scientifically valid tools.

Six Sigma Fitness™ is a framework of methodologies that utilizes the best and most common methods but doesn’t exclude new developments in science and technology and teaches how to integrate them and supports them with advanced technological platforms that are simple and easy to operate. It accomplishes this by picking up where the educational system and certifications stop which is the applied physiology required to implement what they learned. We do this by sorting through all the noise, selecting the best programs to fit into the framework, teaching how to use them and certifying the Coach and or Practitioner in the process. Then it is up to the Coach Practitioner to decide which tools to include in their framework to best accomplish the goals and objectives of the client. It should be noted that many of the 3rd party tools that we integrate into our framework also have their own education and certifications but nobody teaches the industry how to put these all together into a cohesive program and apply it to a client’s situation.
